RideCommit is in development. These answers cover the current app and its iPhone widgets.

Email khomeriki.dev@gmail.com. Include your phone model, iOS version, app version and what happened. Never send your password. Share ride files, routes or screenshots only if you are comfortable sharing their contents.

Recording a ride

Open the app while stopped, secure the phone and allow precise location while using the app and motion access. Start recording explicitly. Keep your attention on the road and return to the app after stopping. If recording is interrupted, reopen the app to review any recoverable recording.

Adding iPhone widgets

After installing and opening RideCommit, touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, choose Edit, then Add Widget. Search for RideCommit and choose Open recorder or Last ride. Open recorder takes you to the app; it does not start recording by itself.

The Last ride widget updates after the app saves or syncs ride data. iOS controls when the widget redraws. If a route is unavailable locally, open the ride in the app. Live Activity shows recording status and elapsed time; if it says Status unavailable, open the app while stopped to check the recording. Live Activities can be disabled in iPhone settings.

Keeping rides across devices

You can record and review locally without an account. To sync, sign in and enable cloud uploads in Profile after reading the confirmation. Sync now retrieves available cloud recordings. Turning uploads off does not delete existing cloud copies. Avoid deleting the app until you have confirmed that the recordings you want to keep are backed up.

Understanding results

Corner scores and lean angles are estimates affected by phone mounting, GPS and sensors. They are not safety ratings. Use the corner verdict to tell us when the analysis does not match how a corner felt.
